Code: Cincinnati Open Design Event

CODE is an annual 4-day event showcasing areas of STYLE, CONSUMER and ENTERTAINMENT based design.

The inaugural event is taking place October 17-20 2012, here in Cincinnati! Expect collaboration, great design, and artistry through a series of events and shows.

Wednesday October 18 - Saturday October 20, 2011.
The four day exhibition honors the robust portfolio of talent possessed regionally in all fields of design. Cincinnati’s pool of creative talent, composed of top design students, regional, national and international design talent, will be showcased over the course of the three days through panels, expositions, runway shows and celebratory parties.

Created in March of 2012, Cincinnati Open Design Event is the creative collaboration between Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa, AGAR, Amy Kirchen and Navarro Photography. Within this joint effort, there are over 30 years of Fashion and Design experience, whether it be by creating or setting a standard.

CODE’s community outreach will encourage and enliven people to explore the city’s diverse creativity and retail spaces throughout the week with promotions, partnerships and educational workshops. Events will take place throughout Over-the-Rhine boutiques, Central Business District companies and other venues around Greater Cincinnati, appealing to the likes of graphic designers, developers and stylists. Promotion and marketing in our city will illuminate just how much design talent is available at one’s fingertips. CODE will promote various industries which will include fashion, graphic and digital design to engage a community spirit of creativity.
